“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”
– Jawaharlal Nehru
Visiting Marrakech was on my travel bucket list for as long as I remember. As a photographer, I love the diversity of the landscape in one place. From crowded city streets in the famous Medina, through the peaceful garden of Majorelle, to the desert around the city and all the way to the great Ouzoud waterfalls.
Marrakech is one of a kind. I felt warmly welcomed by its people and was seduced by all the pretty colors and spicy scents around.
San Francisco, California
If I didn’t end up in New York, chances are I would have ended up in San Francisco. Fifteen years since my previous trip and I was lucky to go back last Summer. I fell in love with the city all over again.
San Francisco is a stunning city to wander and photograph. It never disappoints and all of my trips there always seem too short. The city has so much to offer and it is hard not to enjoy it all.
Sunsets over the Golden Gate Bridge are one of the most romantic things to see in this world.
Before there was New York City, there was Paris for me. I began my adult life in the city of lights and it is always with great pleasure and sweet emotions to go back. I have never been a fan of gloomy weather. However, if there is one place that seems to be just as nice to photograph under a grey sky, it is Paris.
Oh Paris, what can I say? Paris is pretty, Paris is magical, Paris I still love you dearly.
Charleston, North Carolina
There is a certain feeling of romance when wandering the quiet streets of Charleston. Or you can call it the Southern charm. It feels like time as stopped running and all you have to do is take a walk among the pastel colored houses or sit back under a cute porch while sipping lemonade.
The old traditions and manners of the South are still well alive in Charleston, and visiting the houses of the wealthiest makes you want to go back in history.
