How photography made perfect sense!
I was born and raised in France where I spent a big part of my life. I have always been drawn to exploring new places. Taking advantage of my curiosity, I visited and lived in numerous countries. It was only natural for me to end up in the city of my dreams: New York. Becoming a New York City Fashion and Portrait photographer…
I grew up with the sound of an old sewing machine and to this day, it is my favorite sound in the world. Watching my great-grandmother making clothes come to life in her garage, I was fascinated with Fashion. We would watch old movies for the beautiful clothes, and of course later, I discovered the pages of the well-known magazines. This world of elegance could not have been further from my reach. Instead of speaking up about my keen interest, I only dreamt about it and went on with the ‘real life’.
I graduated with a Masters from a business school and then entered the corporate world in Paris. Was I happy? For a time I believe I was. I imagined my life and sort of knew the steps I will have to take in my career. But then, everything changed and I decided to turn my world upside down.
I moved to New York with one suitcase and a head full of dreams. The adrenaline of the unknown grew as I admired in front of me my clean slate. Everything felt possible.
After years of practice, my love of photography grew stronger. It was time to take the leap, say goodbye to the corporate world and begin the exciting new path ahead of me. With photography, I combine my passion for both Fashion and New York City. It is the perfect formula to my happiness. Every day of shooting makes me confident that I took the right decision to build the life I have always dreamed of.
I live on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and I am the proud mom of Harrison, an adorable mini Aussie.
